Commissions

Richmond Church

This unique home in a former church in Richmond, Tasmania, called for a suitably unique piece to be featured near its entrance. The owner commissioned this table piece to match her home’s past, which now sits proudly on display in the front garden.

The image below shows a progress shot of the commissioned piece prior to finalising the setting placement. The table ornaments are yet to develop the characteristic rusty patina of corten steel.

Bonnett Hill

The home owners commissioned Peter to custom make 2 dandelion sculptures at either side of the entrance inserted into rock gabions, along with another dandelion piece for the front entrance. The angle of the dandelion heads at the entrance were designed to reflect the strong architectural angles of the home.

Jetty Road

The owners of this stunning property approached Pete to make a one off piece to suit the seaside setting. Adding to the amazing view the seahorse was created in line with their brief, watching over as they relax from their seating area.

Custom Book Stack

This piece was commissioned to remember a significant anniversary. Being avid readers, a stack of books on a sandstone based, with the top being the favourite book of all time, made for a memorable gift.

Progress images are shown below as the book is created. Beginning with the raw laser cut cover, pages were created by rolling the corten and inserted inside to create the final book.

Uniting Age Well

This piece was commissioned to remember those who passed at a local nursing home. Ivy leaves were pressed from corten steel and twisted to decorate a central sandstone water bowl. The stainless steel plaques were then added, engraving the names of loved ones lost.
